Hi,
I have a ficus tree that has had it's leaves dry and fall. I cut back my watering quite a bit since i thought that may be it. I'm still unsure though. Could it be that it needs fertilizers?

I've posted pics here:

When i was watering it today i just noticed a yellow-white substance in the soil. Is this a fungus? Could this be a problem? How do i get rid of it?

Thanks in advance!
