How is weather in England? I don't feel like we have had much summer here in Ohio...I know others have, though!! Was just wondering what it was like there.

I haven't been playing much in the game room for a long time...just in spurts once in awhile. Might see you there.

Got your reply Shirl. Not much of a summer here either. This is the first week that we have had sunny days. all of June and July has een cold, rainy and very unsettled.

So glad that you are back Glenda. I would've went a little batty if I couldn't get on here for so long.

I haven't noticed Mark on here much lately, but it's summer and he's young so he's probably hanging out with his friends during the summer holidays.

I'm glad you are finally having nice weather. My friend in London was telling me it was the first warm days they've had there.

I remember English weather well. Sitting on the beach in Blackpool as a little girl freezing while eating our sandwiches. Dad always says you just get used to it though since that's the only weather you really know.

Its red hot here today, just finished work, the forcast has given thunderstorms ove night....perhaps I shouldnt water the garden tonight!

How hot is it?

When we first moved to the US we couldn't get OVER the heat......Oh my, what we thought was hot in England suddenly became cool. It's quite a big difference when you arrive and it's near 100 degrees. Took a long time to get used to it. A very long time.

Do you like it best when it warms up? Or is it too hot for you?

I see mum all the time. Her house is 50 steps across the street from me.

I'm sure that she'll reply to you tonight, she's out all day today at a few different doctors. I'm not too happy to have my mum and dad go away for 7 whole weeks, but I know that they will be visiting their family and so that's good. I just get greedy when it comes to them. Would be pretty neat if the 2 of you had a chance to meet up.
