good morning,

I have had in the past a large amount ofOxalis in my livingroom window, very hot and sunny, they grew like weds, I have since moved to Niagara Falls, Ontario Candad, and wanted ot continue my mission with uch unusual plants, I bought two lovely Oxalis, one being the normal green, the other caught my eye, burgandy with birght small flowers, they were pot bound when purchaed and I was rold to re-plant them ina bigger pot, I do believe the originaly pots were far tolarge, I have since repotted both seperately in smaller pots, to my dismay the little burgandy one had since turnturned into a sall mass of noghitn, ?I have never killed a plants in my life and saved many after I was told, foget it, it's garbage, so I am still hanging onto this rather dead looking plant, I have put in fertilizer and use a water meter to make sure it it not over watered, any advice for saving this once gorgeous plant? I also use distled water, and these Oxallis I have always planted in pots indoors, not interestd realy in planting them in the garden. I love to look at their beauty at night when they close up with dark.

thanks

I await any advice anyone has to offer that may help.help.

sad in Niagara Falls.

i wouldn't have fertilized. mine go dormant pretty regularly, especially during very wet or very dry periods, then seem to bounce back.

if they green and the burgundy are potted identical, and place by each other, if you use the green as the measure to water the burgundy, and it gets good light, you should get a "bounce back" from the burgundy. i've had them come back after months. (when i've forgotten them blush )
