Hi everyone - newbie to this forum, but have a plant I need some input on. To my knowledge it IS a Parlour/Parlor Palm (I'm in the UK), but most info I've read on these states they only grow to about 3 feet or so? Mine is now 25 years old almost and is 10 feet and STILL growing upwards and outwards. It's not been repotted in about 6 years or more, although I do top dress it every 1-2, and it's well watered/fed, but I dread to think the state of the soil it's surviving in. My dilemma now is whether or not this is the right plant name as I want to try and pretty much give it away to a good home (through Ebay) so don't want to give a new owner duff info on it. It looks pretty identical to the photos I've seen of the PP so if it's not that, any others I could review to check out?? Also, has anyone else had experience of such palms growing to this extent and how to keep them in good condition when they're dying from the base upwards (although as I said this keeps on putting out new growth lower down too)?

Sorry for all the Q's but appreciate any feedback or suggestions any of you might have on this one. grin
