I've never used it. But from what I read I wouldn't eat anything I sprayed with it. Can also understand your wanting to eat the veggies. And I'm not an organic nut but do try to be careful with my health. JMO. JD

check the label for comments about using on food-plants. i'd also go to their website (i think it's just ortho with the dot com after it) and see if there's more info - you can even call the company or send an email to ask.

some things are okay to use and you can still eat the food...you just have to wait a certain amount of time for the chemicals to leave before harvesting. other things are not safe to use of foodplants at all.

and there might be something with just when you applied the stuff...before the fruit/vegy had set up or afterwards (as in, before or around when it was flowering or after the flowers had already turned into something).

I have checked the lable and it says not for food plants but that is because it was not tested on humens. All else I read says that it is type 1 risk witch is slight risk of toxic and nothing that say any thing about when applyed to a garden only when taken directly.nothing that say any thing about how long it may stay in the plant or fruit.

Yes I did call ortho. They said that I should destroy the plants. But they did not do any studys on vegy plants.Or did they know what one time app might do.The person I talked with was a young person reading a screen.what I have read on the product tells me nothing about it being in the fruit. They just talk about getting it on your self or ingesting some of the product.
