While on the back roads of a Louisiana highway yesterday, I discovered white wisteria! I usually see the purple wisteria in this area but, wow, white! I was pleasantly surprised. I just had to share this with my garden friends! :) There were many many plants in bloom. It really was a lovely drive yesterday!

Hi Diane. I was not able to get close to it unfortunately. Didn't know they give off a fragrance, hmmm, learned something new today :) Sometimes I do pull off the highways or streets to get a closer look, a pic or even a cutting but not yesterday. There was construction on the highway I saw the white wisteria on, and, I did not have my camera with me either, I usually do.

It was a lovel drive, seeing many different flowers in bloom!

Hi Jiffy!
Didn't see your post until now. I look forward to your pic of white wisteria on your back fence. Miss talking to ya! :)

Diane, I was pleasantly surprised when I took that drive the other day. The camelias have been in bloom since Feb and there were still some in bloom, along with bridal brush, and plenty of azaleas, and in different colors! Glad to hear you travel to Louisiana! :)
