I made some jam not too long ago from fresh peaches and strawberries using Sure Jell and it came out delishiously. Has anybody made jelly or jam recently? Did you make it with Sure Jell? How did it turn out?

I made some jelly a couple of months back with wild dew berries. it didn't turn out so well this year. it had (and still is) so dry the berries were sour. also they didn't produce like they normally do so I had to 1/3rd the reciepe and 1/3 the sure jell. it was a waste of time.
glad yours came out!

Im sorry to hear your jelly didnt turn out well. I hear you arent supposed to meddle with the proportions of the recipe or it wont turn out right. You can find many tips on how to make successful jam and jelly at surejell.com

If you don't have enough of the recipe to make the 'Sure jell recipe', then it's best just to cook it down the old fashioned way.

I use the liquid pectin all the time, it sets the best.

Yup, it's called Certo Sure-jell liquid pectin. You get two pouches in a package.
