I just transplanted 7 of my miniature chocolate peppers. I'm so excited. I know I'm crazy. I just love being able to do something besides weed the garden. While I was out there I noticed that my Gypsy Bell pepper has a gazillion buds on it. I'm thrilled about that too. Because so far I've only gotten one pepper off of it. Which was enough to provide me with seeds for next year. But I'd still like to get some more peppers before the cold weather hits and it takes forever for them to turn red.

I planted peppers also...and only have one that is forming lol Oh well, one is better than none.

I've never grown Chocolate peppers before, are they a sweet variety?

I got them in a seed exchange so I don't know anything about them. But I'm hoping that they are. I love sweet peppers.

I'm very happy to report that they all survived the transplant.

Ok I have a baby question. You say you only have one that is "forming" Could you maybe explain what that is? I'm sorry I'm not understanding.

...only one plant made one baby pepper is what I meant. I should of used the word 'producing' instead of 'forming'.

oh, thanks for taking the time to explain to me. I don't make intuitive leaps as well as the average person. It's a characteristic of aspergers.

My gypsy pepper was very slow to start making peppers too. Maybe it's just that kind of year? I really don't have an idea on that one.
