how can i prevent my dog from dig up my plants?

try and catch the dog while it's doing it. then a good scolding and whack with a newspaper. if you have the room, till up a spot for the dog to dig in and keep it moist. they like to play in the good smelling soil just like we do! Or fencing off the area is also an option.

A nice 4' fence will not only keep your dog out of your salads but also the kids, rabbits, some times deer and yes even the wife! :<)
