My computer has been messed up. I have 2 restore discs but when I put them in to restore the only window I get is one that asks do I want to save them to My pictures, open them with media player and stuff like that. Do you know how I actually load them onto my computer?

Generally the restore disk will wipe your pc and restore it to how it was when you first recieved the machine. As it's a "boot" disk, just loading the disk in your operating system will do nothing other than let you browse the disk.
To "restore" you'd insert the disk then restart your system and it should ask you if you wish to boot the disk.

Are we talking Restore Disks or System Recovery? System recovery is an option in windows to roll back to a prior date's config; restore disks generally restore you to a blank cavas
