all that's left of the tomatoes and squash

I usually have vegetables into October or November. This year I'm lucky anything is left.

sheri, that's so bad. i feel for you.

Oh I'm so sorry Sheri...here it was the opposite, the rains ruined our gardens. I feel your pain.

oh sheri, I know what that's like I wanted to cry last year it was so dry here, at least this year it rained enough to keep the grass alive

and the grass so so dry and burned looking we did some control burning so that if someone tossed a match (or cig) down it would catch the whole yard on fire

Oh my Belinda, I have never in my life seen such a thing, I am amazed in a mortified kind of way.

I have the cracks this year but the grass is green and that really helps. it's hard to water anything when all your water runs down a crack that never fills up. I lost some baby trees last year because they couldn't get enough water

Now will the cracks close or do you have to fill them in with soil?...I am still in shock of such a thing.

Oh my here I'm feeling sorry that my vegetable garden just isn't doing much, but I at least had something. Drought is bad sure feel for both of you.
