Hello! I found this site while trying to save my hide. Some of you may gasp, but today while mowing the lawn, I accidentally ran over my girlfriends small butterfly bush. Apparently it had sentimental value to her. Is it possible to save what is left, which is basically just stems at grass level? Thanks for any help you can give. If nothing else, I will replace it.

Yes, just leave it alone and it should grow back fine. It might be best to put a small cage around it so you know where it is for next time...you can get a tomatoe cage at any hardware store or garden nursery.

Your hide will be saved thumbup

Thank you very much! I'll be sure to get it marked very well for the future! Hopefully by next summer it will be one of those funny storys she tells her friends about her dumb boyfriend!
