[font:verdana]I had mentioned last week how surprised I was that Amy had stated to me that she wants a "TON of plants" in her dorm room! She has never shown an interest in any of my plants before, so that was so very nice to hear from her. When mentioning it to her flute teacher at her last lesson (it came up somehow?), Amy said... "well I HAVE grown up with all these plants around me!!!"
Wonders never cease, huh?

Someone had asked for a picture of the plants we had bought at Ikea for her, and the pots from Christmas Tree Shops. Gotta love those stores! I tried to pick plants that require low to medium light, as I'm not sure there will be much natural light in this 15 story building in the heart of NYC.

From left to right... dracaena, croton, and sansevieria (with a bonus baby on the right!)


And a pothos in a pot that Amy just "had to have!!!" It's her favorite pot!




There are 2 small succulents that I didn't get pictures of, also.
Once we see the size and orientation of her room, we can get more plants hopefully.[/font]

Very nice, I love the pot colours and especially the tea cup planter.

I suppose she's trying to make her dorm room like home. They always think they can't wait to get away until the times comes. The different colored pots are so pretty.

All very easy plants to grow and good ones for a lower indirect light or even good indirect light all will be great! The color of pots are really nice,, they will add a splashes of color, great choices of Plants 'n Pots :wink: Lynne and Amy are you going to make her a little Christmas cactus , they may bloom for her in her room,,
