Hello and good morning, this is my first post. I have three aloe veras that need to be repotted as they are far too crowded in their pots. However I am unsure if I should attempt to put them into one larger pot each, or separate them all. Any advice will be appreciated. I love these plants and would love to share them with others but most of my friends do not grow house plants. I added a link for you to see 2 pictures of them. Thanks for your time and trouble. Cordially Sharon sharstevie

hi, sharon, and welcome!

what PRETTY aloe's!!!! they love the care that you are giving them!!

it's really your choice as to whether you split them out a bit or leave them together and put in larger pots.

if it were me, i'd probably do a little bit of both. when you unpot you may find that some of the offshoots that are on the outside of the bunch just naturally fall away...those can be potted up separately and the main bunch can be repotted in larger containers if needed or put back in the original if enough of the babies have either fallen away or you've purposely taken them off so that the main group will fit more comfortably.

Hello Joclyn,
Thank you for your reply to my question, and also the compliment on my aloes. I was ill for quite some time (fibromyalgia) but have since repotted very succesfully. I did have to do some splittling but still maintained the largest part of both my plants in one peice.
Cordially
Sharon

you're welcome, sharon! i'm sorry you had a bad spell there...that's one tough disease to have!

i'd love to see some pics of the plants - if you have time to take and post them, that is!
