don't make acorns until they are 100 years old, but here is proof otherwise

this tree isn't more than 20-25 years old at most, probably only around 15-20

I've never heard that. We have a lot of oak trees and have acorns everywhere during the fall. It becomes aggravating let me tell you.

yes, they crunch. but so much better than sweet gum aka liquid amber trees.

I've been watching the squirrels come around to check out the acorns. But they are just little ones and still green right now.
