I'm so excited because they've ignored this feeder all summer. I've moved it around, cleaned it, filled it with clear and red, and moved it again. I had finally decided that I was just going to hang it with a little food because I think it's so cute. Sunday, when I cleaned and hung the rest of my feeders I put the remaining food in this one and hung it up in a different spot. Maybe that's the answer. They don't like it completely full.
Yellow is my favorite color so when I saw it I couldn't resist. It's been there almost all summer and that's the first time a hummer has used it. They like my clear ones better.
I guess you'll tell us Thorn when we beg some more.
I had to go to the hospital because everyone here was driving me CRAZY. So I waited til midnight, found a basement door ajar there, slipped into the boiler room and hid behind a generator for four days, shivering in nervousness, until Security found me and kicked me out.......
No, actually, Sunday evening I fainted and my wife called the ambulance. I had LOW blood pressure. I was diagnosed with a clogged Carotid artery and a blood clot in the Brain about a month ago, so we've been watching me very carefully. They gave me fluids and my condition improved. The next day I was on my computer when I started feeling weird again, freezing and burning up at the same time and I thought, FLU! SO I went to the hospital where they kept me for 14 hours, ran checks, and discovered I had prostatitis, kidney infection, and low potassium. They gave me medicine and antibiotics and sent me home. The next morning I was at a routine doctor's visit upstairs from the ER at the same hospital, when I again started feeling VERY weak and dizzy, and started sweating profusely. The doctur checked me out and found my blood pressure was 72/44 and IMMEDIATELY sent me downstairs to the SAME ER again, where they admitted me two hours later and started me on tests and IV meds. I was discharged two hours ago. Final diagnoses is Dehydration, low potassium, severe kidney infection, and prostatitis. I have myriads of doctor appointments to follow up with now, but am also loaded down with an arsenal of medication. I have to stay pretty dormant for awhile but can use the computer and camera as much as I want. I'm on Lortab and Darvocet 100 for pain and several antibiotics and prostate medicines. I think I will be fine now. Time will tell.

I am so sorry to hear all of this, Thorny. But glad you are staying on top of it and are getting things looked into and taken care of. Keep safe. We need your humor around here too.

WOW - so sorry to read all this Thorny! I was just teasing you in my dragonfly thread without having read this - sorry about that too!
When I firt starting reading about your symptoms, and then read your blood pressure I right away thought dehydration - that is what put my mom in ICU a year ago when she was already in the hospital and a dr. prescribed a diuretic without even seeing her! Please be very very careful, and make sure you drink lots of water!
Water, HECK!!! Give me COLA! :D, . I'm feeling better and better. I bought TONS of drink, They've given me medicines that are healing my problems, AND LOTS of extra strength Lortab to stop the pain and lift my spirits. The hospital had the most comfortable bed I've ever been in, in my life, and the food and snacks were both good and plentiful. The cable TV didn't have much selection but I managed to stay fairly entertained. So it was a rather enjoyable experience.
I absolutely LOVE to be teased and to tease back, also. It makes me feel loved.
