I've grown this for about 3 years.It's starting to bloom(maybe gets more sun where I sat it?)What is this?I've always made sure to cover it from frost.It's not spread any since grown either.its the same size. flowers/April122007unknown.jpg" alt="[Linked Image]" class="post-image" style="height:auto!important;max-width:100%!important;"/>

could it be a pagoda?? I have one that's simular called the black pagoda that has burbandy underleaves ~ what is on the underside of your leaves ?

socialis... yep Same plant, but those botanist (oh... I went to college) guys did their magic name change again... Silver squill! (Bluebell family) Teeny tiny multi color (purple+green+white) flowers...

Oh wow...thatz really a bluebell...?! n i let mine die out...being not very keen on foliage plants... thought it was just foliage..pretty tho...with no flowers!!!...aww aww i regret letting mine die out!!

your right.not much info out there.I have found a few pictures.YES Back of leaves are violet so that makes it vioet scilla.It grows to one side of pot.I may have added some soil recently cause of stuffing nasturuim seeds. http://toptropicals.com/cgi-bin/garden_catalog/cat.cgi?uid=Ledebouria_socialisThis makes me droll.all over my keyboard.I like the foliage.I think I know the person who got this may have got this from.I'll be hunting Jeff down soon.I'm going to leave on deck where its at.Glad I been covering it.
