Hi everyone. This is the first time I have ever joined a gardening forum. I am a member of several other BB's mostly horses, and this will be a refreshing change. I mean how nasty can plant people be! I am a so so gardener, I have just this year started really putting in some beds, I was very sporadic before, and I have so many questions all the time. This BB may be the only way I will survive over the winter, We had a great summer but the older I get the less I like winter. Thanks for this nice site! Kim
Welcome to our show here...... All you need is ask ......We have volumes of answers on may subjects. We love it all here. Ps we love to answer questions.
welcome kim... and don't mind cricket, she's just our "class clown" (just teasing cricket ) we really are a friendly bunch and almost never have conflict, which, you are right, is a refreshing change. combined with a bunch of very friendly people, we have, in my humble opinion, the best site on the web!

Thanks Jiffy and everyone else for the warm welcome. ITs a great spot and I think its a wonderful change of pace for me. Look forward to learning from the experts! Thanks again,
Wow thanks again, This is such a fun place. there is so much information I dont know where to begin. I also love the smileys, and the whole look of the boards. It may take me a while to navigate and figure out how all the controls work. I have some pictures I would love to post but do not know how on this board. I am really looking forward to getting to know all of you.
Thanks Dodge, I have a Photobucket account, Now I need to get gardening pics uploaded. All I have on Photobucket are horses. Another question, where should I post a pic of something I ned help identifying?
click the bottom line on that horse. click copy come on here an paste ............. see I wanna see a horse......My 3 are gone now.. but not forgotton. You notice the bottom of my page dont you??????//
Alrighty Dodge, this is a test, I know its not where I should post pics. This is my retired eventer, Truman. This is 4 years ago when we were still competing, WE are both older and not in near as good shape. He is 20 now, and is living the life of riley. He has tons of pasture buddys to hang with and We do some quiet trail rides now. Hes my other form of mental health, I call it equine therapy. Just like the pplants are good for the soul!

LOL Jiffy, When you have done it your whole life its different. BUT I am content to just trail ride, turning 50 I have mellowed. I did the competing thing for 30 years. I am happy to just enjoy my old guy now. The fall is my favorite time to trail ride, no bugs and the fall colors. :)
