and i was the recipient of some this week. which was good, it has been a stressful week at work, we are gearing up to get 3000 students moving into 9 buildings by sunday.

so, among those 9 buildings/3000 students is one that i've been privileged to follow since his freshman year. he's a senior now. he and his mother were very happy about some behind the scenes work that my boss did, and the communication i provided regarding the situation and they expressed that appreciation with this bouquet.

i was so honored and proud, he's one of our "special" ones and has come so far.

oh, and yes, that is a giant piece of bread on our wall. made from burlap and art canvas undercoat.

it just changes your whole attitude doesn't it. So nice to be appreciated. They must realize how very special you are Jiffy.

no, barb, i'm not. i work in the main office over the dorms. i'm not over them, i'm the assistant to the person who is. but we work hard to give good service to the students and to make them feel like they are the only one we are working with.

of course, when they come in just to "hang out" it makes it worth it.
