It's been rainig here off and on for many days now and my nice lettuce fall crop is turning into a bad mushroom crop not even the worms want to get near. Oh well... next spring!
Welcome to another Virginian. I'm sorry to hear that your garden was flooded out. I'm in Gladys and I've had pretty much perfect rainfall except for the drought during August. But everything survived that well.
This spring I had the same thing with the radishes. Beautiful green tops and no root to speak of. I have no idea what caused it. They were in nice loose well amended soil.
