I took this picture yesterday. He just looked soo darn cute in this sweater (which is too small for him, btw....I just didn't feel like wrestling him out of it!)
Jenn, he is a little doll.... does look like he will have red hair too- we have two grandsons with red hair .... we tell them they are special cause not very many get it... and they are always noticed by the little old ladies in the stores.... LOL! Nana
Isn't that the truth!?!?!? Our kids tend to get noticed in general right now..."are they twins??" "no" ..."are you sure?" "Seriously!?" Anyways, his hair is silky and I hope it stays that way. I'm not sure what to do with corse hair. When someone says "he has red hair!" I always say "yup, I let him out in the rain too long once and he got all rusty". Not many people get that joke tho!

Oh he is so pretty and cute and all. Happy healthy lil fellow.Give him lots of hugs.He enjoys the forum..LOL
I have been trying to get a good picture of the two of them together for months!!! Maddie doesn't understand the concept of holding him...she's too young. I will try again this afternoon
funny you should mention that...Luke is only in the 5th percentile for weight and for Maddie, we had to push the calories on her forever...in that picture, she wasn't even on the charts!!
It's those chubby little cheeks that you just have to love....makes you just want to squish and squeeze them! I bet there was a time when you just never thought you'd be blessed with 2 adorably cute babies!!!
LOL....nope, you are right, Dodge! She isn't interested in holding him at all...just in hitting him on the head with a wooden spoon (which was intended to be used with the pot that she plays with!!!!) She is early 16 months now....22 pounds...only 5 inches taller than her brother. She is maybe in the 3rd percentile for height for her age. We think she will take after her namesake...her great grandmother who never was taller than 4'10" and extremely petite all the way around. Her wedding band was soo small, I couldn't even get it on to my pinky.
Too cute. love looking at pic's of the little ones. my kidos are three years apart. when I was preganant with my daughter I always talked about the baby around my son as 'his sister' and not 'the baby or our baby'. he was very loving around her when she was born. couldn't tell that now though, they fight with golf clubs and footballs now! ha ha. very precious babies you have there!

I doubt it....the tall gene isn't much in our family. Stephen is only about 5' 10" and I am 5' 6".....well, I WAS 5'6" I have discovered that I have osteoporosis already (not even 30 yet!) and have already lost 2 inches of height due to curvature of the spine (as a result of the osteoporosis)!!! It runs in my family and we will have to watch Maddie and Luke for it as well. My Nanny had it horribly and my mom has it also, but we were not expecting it to affect me until I was older....surprise!
ANYWAYS, we are pretty sure Maddie will be petite. She wears a bracelet that isn't supposed to even fit a 9 month old....she has been wearing it since she was 3 months old. Her hands are the same size as Luke's (to give you perspective). She is my little big girl.
Think positive..... You will make it .. Do you take calcium? Like yogurt or milk?
Such nice family.
