angelblossom, I believe your correct.......When I read that name, it all came back to me. I planted seeds with the name.
Eek it grew like nuts, and shows no signs of quitting. I dont really like it . Might move it down below .......... Too much leaves. But guess it is so you can use it .. Probably edible?
I think it looks like Agastache rugosa. do the leaves smell? I have a measly little one that I started from a bare stick that I stuck in the ground last year.
Helping the world one seed at a time
When weeding, the best way to make sure you are removing a weed and not a valuable plant is to pull on it. If it comes out of the ground easily, it is a valuable plant. Mary Ann LaPensee
I thought the leave had a minty smell, but hd said no.??
I do remember some one sending Blue sage , for my red white blue bed.
Now that your here, I think I discovered the seeds on cup/saucer vine that you want.. Pulled some off and they dont let go. I am going to read on that.
I have the same plant...Agastache rugosa. It is the parent plant of Blue Fortune Agastache. One suggestion- it tends to overwinter better if you don't cut it back in the winter...wait until spring. Also, winter wetness is a sure killer...make sure it has very good drainage.
ahhh okay! lol down hear alot of times anything you grow is mostly leaves lol so maybe thats why i like it... idk.
things aint looking to good like that in my yard my roses are cut back from the move their gorwing slow but surely (i did get some great cutting though long enough for rose trees! =) and my hydrangea is sooooo crappy looking!(some type of black spot fungus i cannot get rid of) id be glad to have anything somehing that was leafy and blooming... lol but you go barb! your plants are always so beautiful and makes my day brighter lol!

I try to take one day at a time -- but sometimes several days attack me at once. -Jennifer Unlimited- Yard Update -April 2012
Wonder if you can grow some murraya paniculata? The climate down there (well, up there from here) should be perfect. If you're not familiar with them, they have glossy foliage and beautiful small white flowers which smell like jasmine, but with a stronger scent. They are teriffic plants. I am growing some in Melbourne, Oz, but they like the warmer weather in order to go really well.
