Hello everybody,
I am the proud grower of a h u g e split-leaf philodendron, which I just re-potted into a 14 inch floor pot. The question is: What do I use to support this plant because I now need it go grow up because of the space it requires (patio door spread)? I have been looking for the wide bark support since it's steams are quite thick and heavy. Can anyone help me find these or have other suggestions?

can you post a pic of it? it's easier to make suggestions when you can see what the problem is.
depending on the size of it, you can use various types of things to support it. there's a company that makes supports and i can send you a link for the site (can't post it on the thread, i don't think) and you can always make your own support with 1 x 4's or 2 x 4's.

Dear Joclyn,
If you can would you post the .com company name or address. Thank you for your suggestion of building a support using 1x4 or 2x4 which we may do after shopping at a large nursery and not finding what I'm looking for. Again, thank you for you help.
