Seeing that my car broke again, I won't be able to do any shopping until next weekend, so my box won't go out as early as it did the last time. I'm really glad we have until the 1st, I was worried about that.
I've got a few things and am "making" something, which hopefully turns out to be nice and actually wanted by the receiver. I still haven't found that special "something" that seems to be missing. Then again, it's not like I know anyone here all that well. But, still, I'm keeping my eye out, I'll know it when I see it.
I'm going to go looking this morning--while my hubby is at work. I'm hoping that I can find what I'm after and, maybe, get the gifts out in the next day or two. Need to remember to pick up tissue paper and look for some funky boxes to mail in.
I got it!! Woohoo! I knew that I'd know it when I saw it. I think it goes nicely with my theme of things. Got the tissue paper although I didn't find any cool boxes that struck my fancy. Too bad. Do you all just use the flat rate box or a priority? I'm not sure how heavy mine is going to be, probably not toooooo heavy. Any experienced people with advice?
If what you send is heavy use flat rate. You can always bring it to the po and ask if flat rate is better for you. Just be sure to pack breakables well. If you have a way to weih it go to usps.com to see postage rates
I won't have that problem. I must check out the website and see what sizes they have and how much they cost. You can just pick up a box and pay for postage when you mail it, right? Sorry for the questions, I'm a first-timer here, and I don't normally mail packages. thanks!!
Priority boxes are free from the post office.IF they have the size you want in stock. Yes you can pay at the P.O. I've mailed heavy stuf in the flat rate priority boxes that were $4.something. That would have been $11.00 if I'd used a not-flat-rate box.
Well, the flat rate box isn't going to work. I sure hope they have the priority-sized one that I want. I'll be checking this afternoon--right after I get my cavities filled. That'll be nice, going to the PO with half my head numbed up.
I have been shopping all morning!! And eating; went to PO and got a roll of bubble wrap; gotta get a box. Want to do more shopping to fill up any little holes!!!
Can't wait to start wrapping and mail it out to..AAJKRRT..
Who ever has my name, I love hand made gifts! I haven't got much shopping done yet, but it's coming along well!

I had to order one special thing and it should be here Thursday. It's a good thing I did my shopping Saturday cause today I think I have a virus.
Don't worry ?*?*?*?*?, your package will be on the way by then end of the week.

Triss's box isn't going to make it as far as Ohio Shirley. Well, I got my car back again, hope it lasts this time, then I can go shopping on Friday. Can't do it today, need to make a deposit first and the bank is closed for the day. I can't wait to see who gets their box first!
