today as I sat quilting Emily's tree skirt, it occured to me that I had not taken a picture of it, nor posted it when I did Valarie's--In the late fall of 2006 I believe it was.

So I thought I would now. BTW--the colors are more deep---for an example the red in the skirt and the lace trim are both a Burgundy color.

Great tree skirt. Wish I could do one this year. But it looks like I'll be saving up for a new used car. Didn't I just buy one...... grrrrh.

well if you have any material scraps you could make the top this year and then you could 'worry' about saving for the batting, backing and lace or another trim next year or even later.

I made these 2 years ago and they are just now each half quilted.
