And I totally missed you tonight. My computer was on but my mind has been off for a while. How sad is that. Sleep sweet, Jiffy.

Morning,
Was way to cloudy and rainy here most of the week to see anything out there and to cold too...
Got some coffe brewing and some cinnamon rolls too for you all--- sure miss Tamara..... Mom was up at six today so getting an early start around here... got to get her breakfast and later this morning going back to get her staples taken out- ER will do it for free.... nice since they put them in... she is doing okay now...
Joe is sleeping in this morning- kids are out for fall break so no one has to go to school and it is his day off too...later on he will be out raking leaves- with all the wind and rain most of them are down now... my deck looked like a leaf pile yesterday... couldn't see it for the leaves on it... I have to redo my Halloween spider webs out side in front too- wind and rain did them in ... that will be later too when sun comes out... chilly out there right now....
Well off to make breakfast and get my shower in a bit.... have a good day!

afternoon everybody! I'm about done with supper and laundry. I'm ready to relax for the rest of the evening. I'm also gonna put a few garlic cloves in the ground in a bit. I tried them last year and planted too early. I'm gonna just try a few and in another month or so a few more.

hi everyone ~

Tonight I crocheted Maxi a simple masquerade eye mask in black yarn. If I had any sequins here, I'd decorate it for him, but as it is it is fairly versitile being so plain. He will be pleased when I give it to him tomorrow.

My time here is winding to an end... I expect to go home in 2 weeks from yesterday. I will NOT have any in-home help for the first month, so it is going to be a little odd, and I will be looking full time for a new apartment. Maxi will not be coming home permanently until after I move because it just isn't fair for him to have to change schools three times in just a few months. So he will stay with his dad until I find us a place in their town.

We were given two hands to hold, two eyes to see, two ears to listen & two legs to walk. But why were we given only one heart?
The other heart was given to another for us to find.

That is good news on your going home, Merme. But I do wish you had help coming in. It is going to be rough on you especially without your number one helper. I hope your hunt for an apartment goes smoothly.

sounds like it is still a long journey to the end of that tunnel, but you are seeing just a glimmer of daylight at the end, aren't you!?! you hang in there!
don't worry about the sequence - he's a boy. he will love it, mainly cause YOU made it for him.

Yep, you remembered right. It was Ashley who broke her ankle and had surgery. She's fine, she goes in for her 2nd surgery to have the pin removed on Dec. 24th. Kind of a bad day but this surgery should be no big deal.

Oh yeah, she's fine. She never even had any pain after her surgery. She started putting weight on it when she wasn't supposed to, and started walking around the house without even the boot before she was supposed to. She hated being on crutches and her thing was, if it doesn't hurt who cares? I wish my surgery would've been that easy, but I'm also not a teenager anymore. Did I tell you the girls are 13 now? It's crazy, they look so much more grown up. Sometimes I miss the little girls they used to be.

Is chermoni's girls twins? or are they just really close in age? I know what you mean about how fast they grow up and also how they SEEM so much more grown up than they even should be. I have an eleven year old that converses better than some adults I know. I think it's in the milk. all those steriods and hormones they feed the cows. ha ha.....they've stolen our childern!....ha ha
no more milk! only tea and sodas from here on out! (only kidding of course)
