I try to take one day at a time -- but sometimes several days attack me at once. -Jennifer Unlimited- Yard Update -April 2012
I just returned from the doctor.I still am not well.He gave me a shot to help me breathe better. My mom just went to Walgreens to get my meds.I am coughing very often.I should feel better by Monday.
It's a warm sunny fall day in California. There's alight breeze in the air and the air quality is great!Makes one just wanna spend the entire day outdoors.
afternoon everybody! I'm about done with supper and laundry. I'm ready to relax for the rest of the evening. I'm also gonna put a few garlic cloves in the ground in a bit. I tried them last year and planted too early. I'm gonna just try a few and in another month or so a few more.

yes, laundry, and packing xxxxxxx's gift box. i should say repacking it. it didn't go out as expected, so it will go out on our way out, that way i can make sure it goes. besides i found some stuff i didn't think about!
Tonight I crocheted Maxi a simple masquerade eye mask in black yarn. If I had any sequins here, I'd decorate it for him, but as it is it is fairly versitile being so plain. He will be pleased when I give it to him tomorrow.
My time here is winding to an end... I expect to go home in 2 weeks from yesterday. I will NOT have any in-home help for the first month, so it is going to be a little odd, and I will be looking full time for a new apartment. Maxi will not be coming home permanently until after I move because it just isn't fair for him to have to change schools three times in just a few months. So he will stay with his dad until I find us a place in their town.

We were given two hands to hold, two eyes to see, two ears to listen & two legs to walk. But why were we given only one heart? The other heart was given to another for us to find.
merme, that is great news about your going home. it will be odd for you not to have in home help, but i'm hoping that the move will be soon. good luck on the apartment!
That is good news on your going home, Merme. But I do wish you had help coming in. It is going to be rough on you especially without your number one helper. I hope your hunt for an apartment goes smoothly.

hopefully it will be cheryl. how's the other one's foot? it is the other one with the foot isn't it? bad ankle? i'm so bad. i can't remember anything these days
Yep, you remembered right. It was Ashley who broke her ankle and had surgery. She's fine, she goes in for her 2nd surgery to have the pin removed on Dec. 24th. Kind of a bad day but this surgery should be no big deal.
Oh yeah, she's fine. She never even had any pain after her surgery. She started putting weight on it when she wasn't supposed to, and started walking around the house without even the boot before she was supposed to. She hated being on crutches and her thing was, if it doesn't hurt who cares? I wish my surgery would've been that easy, but I'm also not a teenager anymore. Did I tell you the girls are 13 now? It's crazy, they look so much more grown up. Sometimes I miss the little girls they used to be.
Is chermoni's girls twins? or are they just really close in age? I know what you mean about how fast they grow up and also how they SEEM so much more grown up than they even should be. I have an eleven year old that converses better than some adults I know. I think it's in the milk. all those steriods and hormones they feed the cows. ha ha.....they've stolen our childern!....ha ha no more milk! only tea and sodas from here on out! (only kidding of course)
