I don't know if I'm depressed or what but I can't make myself do anything these days except go to work and lay in the bed. Anway, today I'm laying in the bed watching show after show of Hell's Kitchen. This is the first time I've seen it and this man is the rudest, most fouled mouth person I've ever seen. Has anyone watched this? How can he get away with it?

I LOVE that Show! Yes He is rude and belligerent , He purpose is to test Nerves and Working under extreme pressure at any given moment, Tho his technique is not to be desired,, He gets results,, or they are out,,,,,,,, I saw him in an interview,,,,, he isn't as bad as the show portrays Him, :wink I believe this New Season is the 4th season and I won't miss a show,, Even tho I must say If I ever Got on that show and He got in my face it would be the last time ,, cuz he would get a taste of his own medicine,,,,, double time,,,

I've watched it a few times. I just don't see how cooking could be THAT stressful under ANY circumstances. I'd be walking out telling him to cook his own #$%&! ha ha. that show stresses me out just to watch it. aren't you supposed to watch tv to relax??

I never watch Tv Just to relax,,,, That show Cracks me Up,,,,, He can make a grown Man cry,, and Being a Chef and working in a kitchen can be stressful,, I've worked in many kitchens and it does get stressful, keeping up with orders and if oven stop working one has to think quickly on their feet or if someone doesn't show Up,, you have to cover different station and think and work quickly!! ,, Lots of things can go wrong, indeed it can be stressful,,

I'm surprised he thinks that's the way to teach someone - to yell at them and cuss. Someone said he has children and loves kids but I wouldn't let him within 100 feet of my children. A person can't cuss like he does and just cut it off to suit the occasion. I suspect in real life he's a potty mouth and on interviews he pretends he's nice. A person can't be that obnoxious by pretending.
I've watched Top Chef before and it's the same premise, (really not sure), but the judges aren't screaming and cussing at all.
I wouldn't go to a restaurant of this man just because I think he's a creep.

I watch it when I need to cheer up...
Why does he get away with it? He's one of the worlds most renound chef's... He can do anything he wants, he gets results...
Think of it, generally a chef does not own a restaurant, he's at the mercy of the owner and belligerent customers; if he can't deal with it in TRAINING what makes you think they'll be able to deal with some random butt in the future who would otherwise screw up their service?

all that yelling and screaming is for ratings. he probably feels belittled by having to act that way, but gets paid a heap of money by the network. kinda like that one really hotty hot judge on american idol, that acts similar.

I just keep thinking that this man has a family that may see this sometimes. I would hate for my children to see or hear that I've cussed like a sailor even for $$$$$. Do sailors really cuss a lot?
