Those House Finches amongst the red leaves and berries is a GREAT shot. The reds REALLY compliment each other.

Maybe you secret santa can get you a cool canon.....However there are other names that are great also..
Depending what you want.
I prefer the way canon makes the photo look original.

Canon and Nikon are the best cameras out there. They are pretty much equal with a SLIGHT edge going to the Canon, A GOOD Canon to get is the Canon PowerShot S5. These are point-and-shoot that you can get for around $300 to $500. Or you can get a DSLR like my Canon EOS Rebel XSi for about $1,000. You then have to get different lenses for the Rebel, for different photographic needs. These run from several hundred to several thousand dollars, PER LENSE! Some of my professional birding buddies spend as much as $10,000 for a SINGLE lense!

Then look at THIS! I took your picture enhanced it a bit and then turned it into a mosaic. Now, all ya gotta do is figure out how many squares of each color you need, then go to a Flooring store and buy enough ceramic tiles of each color in the picture. Then go home and put them all down in the proper order, grout them them and you have a BEAUTIFUL mosaic tile floor of the picture you took.

I do not know what your kitchen looks like, but yes it would look very nice on the backsplash in a kitchen. very nice indeed.

You better believe it! Much cheaper to cross-stitch as a pillow cover.

or, you could print it on transfer paper, rub it onto the tiles for the back splash, then seal them. it would look like mosaic without the cost.

I printed it on photo paper and will frame and hang it on the wall in some other room....

Photos for a back splash is not my bag.
