Can anyone please help me identify this tree that I found all snuggled up against a few other tree's rather hidden [IMG]in central oregon about 2 weeks ago

Is this monkey tree that you are talking about blue in color? Where could I go to look it up?

just do a google search for images Monkey puzzle tree,, IF that is not it,, can you gat a clearer full view picture of the tree and post it?? grin

Hi Garden Angel
Its a Cryptomeria Japonica
A conifer, part of the cypress family but sometimes called a Japanese cedar ( though not strictly a cedar) - I have come across many in Scotland as part of my interest in Bonsai
