Here are some pics I took when I was on one of my trips to Peru.

This is near the coast and it is the driest place I have ever seen. It seldom ever rains and makes Arizona look like a jungle

Once you get into the Andes Mtns the scenery is breathtaking

The villages that dotted all over the mtns are really neat looking

I have never been to Peru but my best friend's dad lives there. I was freaked out by the specimens of bugs he sent her mounted under glass! I wouldn't want to live with bugs like that! lol.

But you are right: it is so beautiful there and your photos do it justice. Thanks for sharing!!

We were given two hands to hold, two eyes to see, two ears to listen & two legs to walk. But why were we given only one heart?
The other heart was given to another for us to find.

Beautiful shots Brian...and welcome to the forum! Glad you jumped right in with your post...... thumbup

The first and second shots look so desolate. Do you travel there often?

My dad went to Brazil last year....wrong side of S. America than Peru, but still.....he loved it.

Incredibly dry in those first couple of pics- it looks like the surface of the moon, Brian.

I have been there 10 times! I met my wife in Peru so now I travel there often so she can visit her family. A really neat place to visit. The food is even better than the landscape. I usually gain 7 or 8 pounds everytime I go there haha
