Hello everyone. I am new, and very excited that I found this web site. I could really use some advise in regards to a Palm Tree that I want. I don't know what kind of Palm it is; but it's 12 ft tall, and the trunk is about 4 inches around. It's a house plant, and my friend wants to get rid of it. I would very much like to have it; but my ceilings are only 8 feet tall. Does anyone know if there is any way to cut this tree down to make it shorter without killing it? I would appreciate any suggestions. Thank you.
