Hi Crackerlady, how is it in Utah at the moment? It's the end of spring here, and quite warm already. It's gonna be a bad fire season unless we get some rain.
love your tag line crackerlady! welcome! (btw....I am sometimes called the cracker lady too. (not on here but in 'real' life', cause I usually always have a pack of saltine crackers on me. I eat those just by themselves for breakfast sometimes.)

Well, hello everyone! I never knew so many "cracker" facts! That "cracks" me up! steve_g, the weather here has been beautiful. It was in the 70's yesterday and has been raining off and on all day today.
Thank you all for the warm welcome!
If a newbie is concidered "green," why do we say experienced gardeners have a "green" thumb?
Hmm, that sounds pretty good! What sort of plants are you growing? Are you mainly into indoor or outdoor plants? Do you have any unusual plants for your area, or mainly just the ones that grow well there?
Hi Steve! I'm an office person so I'm kind of stuck with indoor plants. :) I'm thinking if taking up Bonsai. I purchased a nice book on them. After I read it I'll see what I can do with it. Right now I have a coffee plant and a bamboo plant in my office, but I got put in charge of adding some flowers to our planters outside, so that will be fun for me. I'm going to stick with things that are good for my area right now until I get more acquainted with plants. :)

Be careful, because it gets kind of addictive! Still, there are worse things to be addicted to. Coffee plant, that should be good for the office, right next to the coffee machine. Bonsai will be an interesting field; I have always admired the bonsai plants when I've seen them, but never actually tried it. A friend of mine, who has more plants than your average nursery, does a bit of bonsai. He can make anything grow!
Haha! Addictive, huh? I guess it depends on how lazy you are. Thanks Steve! Maybe if I ever get the Bonsai thing going, I'll post pictures here for everyone.
