Thanks - angelblossom
I've gone to the websites you sent - Thanks.
I'm still waiting (and maybe you have it)for some advice on the type of container that is best for jade.
Thanks again - I'm learning a lot because of this site.

I would think a clay pot would be good as it will allow the soil to dry out ,,( clay pots absorb moisture  ) , and you don't want it to stay too moist, (root rot would accure ) also They like cooler temps in the winter and that will encourage flowering, Remember jades have shallow roots and don't require a really deep pot,,If grown in a bright window in a clay pot, monitor the plant and if the leaves become soft, the plant needs water.

Hi, Mygirls, and welcome. Clay pots or something breathable are best for jades. Big enough for the root ball plus an inch or two. Jades can get top heavy so you want a broad flat base and some weight on the bottom. Otherwise it just takes a breeze to tip them over.

definitely used unglazed clay pots and make sure there is a drainage hole in it!
depending on the size of your plant, you would want at least an inch clearance between the rootball and the edges of the pot. if your jade is older and is well-developed and highly branched, you'll want to go a little larger and deeper for a container because they DO get top-heavy.
use a good cactus soil and maybe mix in some perlite or aquarium soil to add extra drainage and your plant will be happy.
it's best to repot in spring, although, if you must do it now, go ahead.
once you repot it, don't water it for at least a week - give the roots some time to get resituated after being disturbed. then do a thorough watering. you should slowly add water and let it soak down into the dry soil - do it in small increments and allow time for it to soak down - until all the soil is moistened and you are just seeing a bit coming out the drain holes. let it dry out well (at least down an inch, down two inches if the container is large) and then water thoroughly again.
