i love it when young adults get their real taste buds.

good night all. I have a bit of a cleaning bug bitting me, so I'm gonna clean a bit before bedtime.

tomorrow we are going ice skating. a rare treat in texas. (of course it's in an indoor areana)

I'm still debating on whether I should duck tape this bad foot of mine and ice skate with the kidos....risking being laid up a few days if it twists the wrong way or gets too strained. or just sit on the side lines and be a resposible adult that still has to go to work come monday. hhmmmm......??? (old foot injury that never healed right - does fine unless I overdo it)

Get some rest, Cricket so you can have a blast skating with the kids tomorrow.

I just made coffee because Maxi wants to stay up late tonight, so we're up for a while yet.

That's the main reason I never eat sweets, Kim. Of course they aren't healthy for me but I would probably be tempted once in a while if they didn't make me feel yuccky afterwards.

I only really indulge in cyber cookies!


I was a bit miffed earlier because my EX's girlfriend brought Maxi home more than two hours later than expected without an explanation. By then, the little one was a mess of tears... hungry, tired, and wanting out of his car seat! I dunno where she was all that time.

This is a whacky time of year, though, when people get sidetracked by the burden of excess things that must get done. Maybe she got waylaid in the stores.

now look it here Tina----I was all happy--my DH took me out to this small quiet place that has decent food and very good, if high priced, wine for supper.

and then I come home to read that YOU had fresh Maine Lobster------I love fresh sea food---- Oh well, some day----

I am sorry that I ruined your ideal dinner, Carol. I have been sitting on this gift certificate for a year waiting for John to feel up to it all. But then you get to the site and that stuff is very expensive. I could've done better in our local stores for the cash. But the thought was there from our friends.
Jonni doesn't remember ever having lobster before. She has but was very young. I still need to scrabble something together to eat. And do the dishes from that cooking. You probably don't have clean up from your dinner.
