Yesterday I caught the original version of Yours, Mine, and Ours starring Lucille Ball & Henry Fonda. It was far superior to the remake version w/ Steve Martin. I was glad to have seen it.

This time of year the TV networks flood us with holiday-inspired stories. So I wanna know, what are you watching?

We were given two hands to hold, two eyes to see, two ears to listen & two legs to walk. But why were we given only one heart?
The other heart was given to another for us to find.

I try to find and watch the original Miracle on 34th Street if I can every year. I also like the more recent one but really love the original the most.

The Santa Clause. grin clap

Of course I'll be watching The Christmas Story too. It's not Christmas until I hear "You'll shoot your eye out".

I also watch A Christmas Carol every year. The one with Alistair Sim---to me it's the best one. thumbup

Great choices, Diane! I also enjoy Holiday Inn, The Bishop's Wife & Meet Me In St. Louis. (We love Garland). Babes In Toyland makes me laugh and cry now even as it did when I was a kid. My eldest sister was quite a singer and she would sing Toyland for us; I'd always bawl.

It's a good movie. It's not one that I'd watch again but it was worth it the first time. I didn't know much at all about Austrialian history so it's interesting.

I watch It's a Wonderful Life---Luckily I have the DVD.

there are many more but these 2 are my favorite ones.

We're watching My Cousin Vinny. I liked it the first time 100 years ago but Johnny thinks it's the funniest movie ever and watches it every time it comes on. Like me and Raising Arizona.

We watched Wedding Crashers the other night. We enjoyed it.

We are watching football right now...Vikings and Bears.

I enjoy many of the Christmas movies and always record the children's ones for Tristen.

I love that movie Merme..
But the new versioin of yours mine and ours is with Renee Russo and Dennis Quaid.
The steve Martin Movie was Cheaper by the dozen.
The Dennis Quaid movie is terrible, Renee Russo plays like a hippie type, and Dennis is the navy guy
I adore the lucille Ball one. I watch it whenever its on.

Of course! We love that song, Cricket!

Last night we tuned in to a MUSICAL version of Scrooge. It was pretty awful. We love musicals in general and we love Scrooge in particular, but Maxi fell right to sleep and I couldn't focus on it. I paid attention in time to see a modern Santa dancing in the streets and couldn't put that in context with the story, so I gave up! I usually like Albert Finney, too. Maybe it was just my mood, but I'm not sure I'd try watching it again.

ITs my all time favorite Maxi! HAve every single one in VHS and DVD.
I dare not tell you how old I am but this will give it away. I still remember seeing the very first one when it came out. Many MAny Many years ago. IF memory serves me, I was 19. We were hoplessly addicted to it from the start. Went to see in so many times in the theatre when it opened.
I still love them. clap

I love the original trilogy of Starwars (episodes 4-6). I had a harder time getting into the second trilogy (1-3). I liked the original Trek too. And most of the Star Trek movies.
Right now I am watching the USC/UCLA game. Nearly a hometown rivalry.

I've never seen The Net, Sheri.

Right now I'm watching Since You Went Away, a movie about a family left behind when the dad went to WWII. It stars Claudette Coubourn and a teenage Shirley Temple.

Carol, Johnny and I walked out on Pulp Fiction when we paid to see it at the movie. Neither of us liked it for some reason. Then it came on TV, we watched it and liked it and can't remember why we didn't in the first place. There is ALOT of violence but John Travolta is great.

I watch John Travolta specifically in the movie Michael just to see him dance to "Chain, Chain, Chain". He is unbelievable with that; particularly in the opening moves.

I love Star Wars, too. I heard that when Mark Hamill went to the awards dinner for Star Wars, he was VERY confused by ALL the fancy silverware at each place-setting. Then, He heard a voice from beyond......"Use the FORK, Luke!"

John's got a good dance scene in Pulp Fiction too. Love a man who can dance.

You know Thorn, I've never seen Star Wars.
