So now that I'm in the process of applying to university, my teachers have mentioned a lot about exploring hidden talents. Some of the universities require an 'Extra Information Sheet' where you have to talk about non-academic things you're good at. I though it might be cool if everyone shares their talents :D; say three things that they're good at? A hidden talent can be anything you're better at than most people...or rather anything that you've got experience with. A musical instrument, a craft, a language, anything! Gardening doesn't count just to be fair :P
1. I'm fairly fluent in French 2. I am pretty good with origami, and decorative knotting 3. I can bake and work well with chocolate (truffles with a ganache center :D)
Helping the world one seed at a time
When weeding, the best way to make sure you are removing a weed and not a valuable plant is to pull on it. If it comes out of the ground easily, it is a valuable plant. Mary Ann LaPensee
Two years ago I had the opportunity to audition for and join a fabulous women's chorus, called Mountain Melody. We have 25 women of all ages - from 16 to 70.
This weekend we are doing our two Christmas performances. It's the most fun!!
We had to memorize 16 difficult songs in just 14 weeks. But we did it!

It's a wonderful group of women. I feel blessed to have such a fun group of friends. We've been singing together for two years now and we are VERY committed to our group. It is such a great outlet for creative expression. We will be posting some of our songs on YouTube soon.
Just goes to show you that you can't know what's ahead in life. I'm turning 67 on January 11th and could never have guessed that this musical group would be in my future.
Happy to meet you Patricia What a wonderful way to bring in your Birthday ,,, With Music,, that is awesome,, and as a Music lover myself, I understand your Joy in music!

We were given two hands to hold, two eyes to see, two ears to listen & two legs to walk. But why were we given only one heart? The other heart was given to another for us to find.
This one might sound odd, considering, but I have great physical prowess when it comes to all manner of activities. My body just "gets it" when it comes to movement, much to the amazement of PT's who marvel at how naturally I can do things.... things they have to teach whole-bodied healthy people how to do.
I am a creative writer and I focus on short stories and poetry.
I am a musician and have a flair for staging productions. (Does that count as two?)
