I'm thinking about writing Christmas letters to update family and friends on what has been going on in our family this past year. When writing Christmas letters, do you write in the first person or in the third person?? why

I write I, we, us. First person. It is really the way I like to read letters I receive also.

Most readers find that first person voice -- that universal I -- very appealing. Third person can seem far too distant.

We were given two hands to hold, two eyes to see, two ears to listen & two legs to walk. But why were we given only one heart?
The other heart was given to another for us to find.

Cause wouldn't that just sound weird?? I never did quite understand exactly what the second person was, actually. Even just now I looked it up...I kind of understand it...but not really. lol

Ok, I guess first person it is! :)

Yep First Person,, Is best and personal for the reader to enjoy. as if your right there or talking on the phone,, I, we.......

You use the "second person" - "You" when you are talking directly to another person or group of people.

"You were amazing in goal!" "You all played brilliantly."

,,,,,,,Third person,, She, he, they . it,,

That is completely missing the spirit of the season. And is sad.
