Howdy! I was cleaning/rearranging some plants today, and found a little bug underneath one. Only one, and couldn't find another. It looked like a mini-pincher bug, but was all grey and small. It was underneath a dead catnip I have been trying to bring back. I threw the catnip away; it was dead anyways, but I'm afraid this might have gone to other plants. The bug couldn't crawl out of the water-catcher, and that is good. Any suggestions as to what this could be, and how to see if others got it? Thanks!!!!

Without a picture, I'm not real sure. But, if the catnip was outside at any time, sounds like it could be an unfortunate stink bug (wrong place, wrong time for the bug ) In any case, it sounds like that was the only bug you had. I would just keep a close eye on things to make sure no others show up.

sounds like an earwig. they feed on decaying plant material.

I love the sweet scents wafting in the breeze. I stop to admire the vibrant colors of all living things. And people think me odd. Then ODD I am!!!

Its neither of those, but thanks for the replies. I'm going to definitely keep an eye on them, but it does look like there aren't any others. Thanks a ton!

Nope, it freaked me out so I sent it for a trip down the toilet. Sorry!
