Good movies Patricia! thumbup

Last night we watched Bee movie. Me and Athena did....in my bed. It surprised me. It was good. thumbup Although I fell asleep for the last 15 minutes. lol Should have known better than to snuggle down in the bed.

Not holiday related, but since I don't watch many movies I thought I'd share--even though it is a kids movie. lol

It is about a Mother and her twin sons and daughter that moves into the Spiderwick Estates,
After moving in the run-down Spiderwick Estate with their mother, twin brothers Jared and Simon along with their sister Mallory, find themselves pulled into an alternate world full of faeries and other creatures. Unable to explain the strange disappearances and accidents that seem to be happening on a daily basis, the family blames it all on Jared. When he, Simon and Mallory investigate what's really going on, they uncover the fantastic truth of the Spiderwick estate and of the creatures that inhabit it.

I haven't seen it yet and Want to,,,,,, I guess I'm going to have to go buy the movie,

there is a series of books ,, The Spiderwick Chronicles,,

So how many of you caught the Tournament of Roses Parade today? It was lovely as usual but I thought last years was a little better. My Mom and I never missed the parade even when we only had B&W T.V. to watch it on and though I still try to never miss it it just isn't quiet the same without her to watch with. She use to get such a kick out of me picking out which floats I wanted to have a wedding on. That use to be a dream of mine when I was young. Too get married on Jan. 1 and talk them into allowing me to use one of their floats to have my wedding on and then Honeymooning at Disney Land. Never realized that dream. Oh well, I guess some dreams just aren't meant to be fulfilled.

My next house will have no kitchen - just vending machines and a large trash can.

I've lived close enough to go see the parade in person most of my life and never have. An hour or so drive on a normal day; not that this would have been a normal day. I did catch some of the parade. At my computer the TV in the room is at my back at about a 4 o'clock position so I listen and turn my head when I want to see something. Keeps my neck from getting stiffened in my old age.
Watching/listening to football now.

But mostly we are still lost in Middle Earth...
