We were given two hands to hold, two eyes to see, two ears to listen & two legs to walk. But why were we given only one heart? The other heart was given to another for us to find.
Afgrey, If I put my snowballs away, will you come out and play?

If I put my snowballs away, AND empty the water balloons, will you come out and play?

My best offer: IF I put my snowballs AND water balloons away, and use one of my hands to pour you some Jim Beam & Pepsi, will you come out and play?

How are you ladies tonight? I know you two have been behaving.
Anyone seen Ms. Afgreyparrot? I got me a brat bird to chat with, it seems.

I'm not too bad tonight actually......went downtown earlier to the dollar general and picked up a milkshake on the way back. Gotta head up to bed, let me see if I can find Cindy.
Hi everyone. Where were you Merme when Cindy and I were laughing so hard we were peeing in our pants.
I was crochetting, of course!

And what have YOU been sipping, Ms. Sheri?
Apparently, Loz's Dollar General doesn't sell milkshakes, either!

We are in the same time zone as you are, Sheri. It is just before midnight here.

Merme, did you finish your religion classes so you can be a Deacon (maybe called something else) in your church?
No, I did not, Sheri. I had to drop out because my dialysis schedule conflicts with the course schedule.
I'm off for tonight; I have some crochetting I want to finish while I watch a show I want to see.
Safe away home, O my palies, and sweet dreams to you all.

I should have clarified last night. McDonalds is right next to our DG, so as we backed out of our parking spot at DG we backed right into the drive thru spot....So I figured it was a sign to get a milkshake. Medium, strawberry. I could drink one everyday for real. I love them. One of the only things I can say I love from McDonalds......ooo, I do love the country style chicken sandwiches though, they are really good and taste sort of like Chick-fil-a.
Morning Tina, haven't had a coffee yet here.....it's snowing outside but I think it's just a short lived patch.
Well, I am on my third cup now. I don't do strawberry shakes but I like chocolate or vanilla just fine. And I love Mickey D's. Big Mac's forever.A good thing I do too because I've had five kids. I am honestly thinking of having chicken noodle soup for breakfast. I have a cold and it sounds good.

AWWW....that makes more sense.
I'm on my third cup of coffee. the kids were hired to clean for me for an hour this morning. they worked very hard, so they got their pay. now, of course, they want to go and spend it. I better get in the shower now so that money doesn't burn a hole in their little pockets. we only got the bathrooms done and part of the living room. I really thought we knock out more than that. but, it's a still a nice dent.

I think I need to hire your kids. I paid Jonni $40 to clean our friends 2 bedroom house. It has been empty and closed up so mostly needed dusting and a vacuuming. She refreshed the bathrooms and kitchen so everything smells nice in there. She did a good job. That is part of my Christmas present to my friends. Then I find out they might not even see it. They are leaving for Puerto Rica again at the end of the month. That is alright. It will be easier to clean the next time they come home in about 6 months.

bummer they may not get to see it tina. Well, it needed the clean anyway and like you said it will be easier to clean next time.
sure you could hire my kids, but an hour is about all I can get out of them at one time. so it'd have to be a short job. he he
I just reread your post and realized you said the house is empty. 40 bucks for cleaning an empty 2 bdrm sounds like good easy money. can I come clean it next time for 40? he he

The house is full of nick-knacks and furniture. So not completely empty. It was a way to get some money to my kid. And a way to say welcome home to my friends. They have several houses. Taking care of the one closest to me is so they don't have to arrange it to be done long distance. I also get paid to putter in their two closest yards and have a free hand with what I do there. So it is all good. My friends will stop by here to see us on Christmas day and may just stop by their house to check things out, too. But I am glad they don't feel that they have to. They know all is well.

we just got back from the grocery store to get all our munchies for Christmas day. we all love our Christmas day snack day. it's all easy stuff so I'm not cooking all day. we have 'party' food all day long, sit around in our jammies all day if we want, and play with our new stuff!

That is the best way to do Christmas, Cricket. And how we will be this year too. I am very glad not to have to drive to any of our family's homes this year. I might cook something because I love to cook. But that is very fun for me so not a chore.
