I finally collected my mail after a few days of not. There was a package in there for me from Carol. She sent me some flavored teas and a small wrapped package. I didn't wait too long to open it. There is a beautiful Precious Moments angel ornament holding a crystal star. It is heartwarming and I thank you so much.

Are we getting a picture of a Little Carol Elf distributing Gifts through out the forum??
"Grace without perfection is more to be desired than perfection without grace."
What a perfect and precious thing for you to send, Carol, and what a lucky Diane to receive it!!!
BUT... Diane is not the only LUCKY one!
I got an OH-SO-SWEET gift from thoughtful Carol as well! It's most appropriately named... "That's what friends are for"! Carol has been there for me the past year or so, when I've been having some difficulties in my personal life, and I could not now express how appreciative I am for that, if I tried! But I hope you know how much I value your friendship, Carol!
Look at the BEAUTIFUL wrappings my gift came in! And the card picture was not overlooked either, as I am often telling Carol about the deer in my yard, or on the roads nearby - she is very clever!
The gift could not be more appropriate, as I've said, and I am so touched by it, Carol!!! Thank you so very much for always being there, and being my friend! "That's what friends are for!"
Oh, and a very special gift was tucked under all the bubble wrap - I almost didn't see it! It' a wonderful Chanukah stamp - yes, it's spelled differently from how I usually do, but it gets the point across! (my camera has died, so I can't post a picture of it unfortunately.) I LOVE to embellish my envelopes, etc - this will be great - thanks soooooo much, Carol!
That is a Lovely Precious Moment Lynne, I for one don't know where I would be mentally if it hadn't been for a few of you here,,,, Times spent here are Precious Moments, moments that will be life long in friendships, Carol you're a real sweetheart!!!! :ding:

I feel the same way---While I have not been thru what Diane has, I was, and still am, greatful for this Forum and the people in it. They helped me get thru all of my surgeries and the slow and seditary recovery of this last surgery. -- Did I mention I am not done healing from that yet--so ya all are not "off the hook" yet!!
I should of found The Garden helper long long ago.....

Oh how sweet! Like I said you guys are totally awesome!
so, scott calls me today at work. he was off. he said you got a package today from carol jean! i said yay, it came! he asked how i knew about it, i told him a frog told me
in it was a wonderful precious moments ornament titled "love one another". it is beautiful, and probably won't get "put away". but that wasn't all.
there was another package in the box. it was a pair of individual spoon rests, like you might use when you are having coffee or tea (or in my case, hot chocolate ) they are beautiful, and knowing our carol jean, made by her own hand. i will try to get pictures soon.
you are so very welcome, Jiffy, I just wish the pkg. had of made it to your house BEFORE Christmas---(You now own a box that is a seasoned U.S. traveler... ) ----BUT those ceramic pieces are actually butter cups (for individual pats of butter) that I make to hold tea bags.. But since you are a chocolate fan---then yes spoon rests they are !!!
FYI: yep made by my own hand !!!!!

I also got a package from Carol!! Thank you Carol! Very sweet of you!! I got a calendar mouse pad, a journal book and a 2009 Farmers Almanac which is very interesting to read! Thank you again!!
and they even say butter cups i'm tired tonight, can you tell? they are just too cute!
I was not really correcting you , Jiffy---actually I had not thought of using them as spoon rests, but you can be sure I will be doing so now..THAT is a great idea...
I have only used them as buttercups one time--for a luncheon I had a long while back.
So now they are officially dual purpose....spoon rests and tea bag holders..!!!
