How many do emboridery? I've been doing it for a few years.
What I want to know is what you use?
What patterns have you done?
I am thinking about getting a Brother PED-Basic Embroidery Software w/ blank card & USB reader/writer box.
Has anyone ever used something like this?

I do it by hand. What I like to use are pen and ink drawing usually of wildlife.

I have done 12 inch blocks of a bengal tiger and her cub, a Red Macaw, a Cockatoo with a peach tinted crest, a unicorn in flight over a sunset on water (my own design), the yellow and brown butterflies flitting about some daisies. And of course the pillow cases, sheets, pictures and patched jeans. And that's telling how old I am lol.

The last time I looked at embrodery machines they were limited to a certain size square. I don't remember the exact size anymore because it's been years ago. But my problem is that I'm left handed and I find using machines to be more work than pleasure. I much prefer to do it by hand in front of the tv while I watch my favorite program. It takes a lot longer admittedly but that's what I like even if it doesn't make sense.

Good luck with your projects. I hope you get what you want and enjoy it.

I haven't done it by hand in years. But I do have an easy punch hand held embroidery machine too. I love the way it looks when you are done with it. It really stands out.
