Hello,
This is my first post,Thank you in advance.I just purchased a Norfolk Pine,on sale after Christmas! It has many(5)individual trees packed into a (12"wide,10" tall)pot. The trees are varying hights, the tallest is about 33" tall.Im worried about overcrowding. At the moment the tree(s) seems very healthy, except for some slight department store neglect.Should I cut the smaller trees at the base so that one or two are in the pot? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

you can actually take them out of the pot and split them up if you want. i've done that successfully.

I'm not sure about seperating them, they may be too close together. My intuition tells me to wait till spring because its probably slow growing now because of winter. This will stay as a house plant. Thanks for your suggestion, I will consider that option.
