Hello everyone! I'm a little bit new in the gardening world as in I've never really have done anything. Why have I taken an interest in gardening. When I was younger my mother had flowers EVERYWHERE and my father grew a large vegetable garden which most of our summer produce came from there. We even canned some things. Well since my father is working a lot and my mother has trouble getting around my yard hasn't been as prosperous as it has been in years past. After reading Animal Vegetable Miracle I got inspired to make a change. My mission this summer is to simply grow a sucessful garden and benifit from it.
I've come here to gather more information about how to garden. I want to turn this brown thumb into a green one!

We were given two hands to hold, two eyes to see, two ears to listen & two legs to walk. But why were we given only one heart?
The other heart was given to another for us to find.

Hello Willowfairy, welcome and by the way I love your board name.

My next house will have no kitchen - just vending machines and a large trash can.
