Those are Canada Geese. Even though they are Wild, they will eat out of your hand. Careful though! They drool and slobber like dogs. AND DON'T try to feed them in spring when they are nesting or have young. They will tear you to shreds. Keep a safe DISTANCE between you and them in spring. In other seasons it is OK to make overtures to them.

NO Thorny, we had so many storms this last summer the dock's have come
a part from each other,and now We have to wait for summer to go out and get this one the geese are on .it has leg's on it and the kid's couldn't get it,then it turned cold to cold to get in lake to go far now lol, So when it get warm we will go out and get it,lol

Yes it is treated wood,I think if it wasn't it
would have fell apart,lol but the geese and ducks,
like it out there but not me.

Hey Throny, In this pic you see part of the
dock you thought was sinking lol and you see where my boat's are
well the sinking dock lol is to be by the boat's and on the right,
you see my other dock it is my floating one ,well it floating all around the lake during the storm's We had,so when summer come we will all be out in the
lake to put them all bk in the right spot's lol
