Do we have a camera forum?

I was trying to take a shot of the sunset when it was pretty dark and the picture isn't there.

How do I take a night picture?

I almost got a good night picture tonight, but I didn't have a camera. I was behind the drugstore, when a raccoon ran out from the dumpster, carrying a hamburger in its mouth. It's been ten years since I LAST saw a live raccoon. The Pharmacist says it is out there every night and even got INTO the store last week! (After the Percocet or Lortab, I guess).

Thornius, I think maybe you've been into the Lortab or Percocet.

Oh I use Lortab and Percocet fairly often for vascular pain in my legs, but I don't need any right now. I'll let you know next time I take some.

I have Peripheral Vascular Disease coupled with CHF. THAT'S why I'm retired, now. My medication keeps things under control nicely, but I still can't sit for long periods of time. I either have to walk a lot or else lie down with my legs elevated. I get a LOT of infections in my legs that have to be treated with antibiotics and pain pills. Hence, Lortab and Percocet are part of my diet at times, but I haven't needed any since June.

my husband takes oxycontin for polymyocitis. He has some that are instant release and are only 5 mg. He takes 40 mg twice a day and has no problem. One day I had a terrible headache and took a 5mg. I was out cold for 3 days. I thought I had an inner ear infection. I was dizzy and couldn't get off the couch. I still had the headache but was drugged.

this is looking up my driveway toward the street last night. In the view finder I can see the street well but in the picture it's gone.




and this is the sunset at dark. Can you see it? maybe if I take the oxy again I can see it.

I was experimenting with different setting for night shots on my camera. I found a delayed shutter release so I get NO camera vibration in the camera and therefore near perfect shots. I am REALLY pleased with this shot!
