Hi:
I have a friend looking for ideas of house plans to keep at his office. The ceilings are about 12ft high. He has lots of smaller plants but he'd like to get some tall plants.
I would appreciate any ideas. He has some office with low light and also some with very large windows, mostly north facing.
Thanks a head of time for any suggestions.
Amber

dracaena and schefflera would work. so would any of the bush-like philodendrons (they can get quite large). he could also do the viney type phil's as they do best when grown on a pole/support. any of the monstera's also, do best when grown on some kind of support. with such high ceilings, they'd have perfect room to grow to their hearts' delight! (which means they'd mature and start to morph - and that's a sight to see!)

wavy Hi Amber grin Good to see you clap

I have a rubber tree plant that I have to cut the top off every year because it's gotten so tall. It's currently 8 ft tall,, and doesn't need direct light and they grow fairly fast. [Linked Image]

Also a ficus gets really tall.

Janet Craig will grow tall ---> [Linked Image]

To add "texture" a good sized Pencil cactus to start out with can grow really tall, . I had a pencil cactus that once reached 7 ft.
and the Milk tree cactus gets tall and gives off yellow waxy star shaped blooms near the trunk,, these seem to grow slow then suddenly shoot up 6 inches at a time,
Mother in law tongue( snake plant gets tall,, ) as well, ( in the same picture with the rubber tree above)
