I have tube feeders " house feeders and screen feeders,, I just read where they like flatform feeders too,, I didn't have one so I'm using a ceramic water catcher for a plant,, I cleaned it well, and placed Black oil SF seeds in it and placed it in a plant hanger,, Are feeders best placed further apart or close together,? Here are pictures of where mine are placed,, the two tree are on opposite sides of the back yard,, the Arbor arch is close to the feeders of the House and screen feeders,, any suggestions or thumb of rule when placing feeders out??and how often should the feed be changed with fresh feed IF there are No takers??? This tree,,, ![[Linked Image]](http://i43.photobucket.com/albums/e374/2thtek/birds/bf3.jpg) is within 4 -5 feet of this arbor,, This tree is on the opposite side of the yard,,

I have mine all in a bunch. I think it is best to bunch them together. It makes photography and viewing much easier and the birds seem to like to have a variety of food and feeding options close to each other. I use a small stainless steel table as my platform feeder. Your hanging dish makes a GREAT platform feeder. Birds LOVE that kind.

Thanks Thorny,, The tube feeder is the one I put more feed in today,, is was down below the top perch,, now that somthing has been eating from it,, should I move it to the other tree,,( I can see the tree and the arbor out of my kitchen window,, the tube and sock feeder I can't see unless I go outside). so is it wise to move it once it's be discovered ??

I have mine where I can see them out the windows Diane. I have moved them around and it didn't seem to mess the birds up. I like what you've done for the platform feeder.
