What are these mushrooms and how do I manage?
They showed up this morning, I do have some un-decomposed organic matter on the surface that I'll be clearing and replacing with a much better compost.

i'm not really sure what kind of mushroom they are, however due to their obvious shape, and the family friendly nature of the site, i've removed the link.

that said, i would recommend that you remove the top 1-2 inches of compost/soil and replace it with a good commercial potting soil. and, i would be careful not to over water anyway. nigh blooming jasmine don't care for too much water.

and welcome!

Welcome, Scomo. Most toadstools growing in soil near your plants are harmless to the plants themselves. But if you have pets or small children, it is a good idea to remove them in case they are harmful ones. Have fun around here.

I'm guessing your mushrooms are probably some sort of Leucocoprinus...they're one of the most common fungi to appear 'spontaneously' on the surface of potting soil. L. birnbaumii is yellow, while L. cepaestipes is whitish.
