I will take some when I get home if it isn't too dark. I wish pictures could show how cold it is.

It's Loz at moms, I didn't want to log mom out. Actually I didn't realize I was logged in as mom until I posted. Oh well.

The 2nd picture is the mountain just to the left of my back porch and what I see out of the window over the sink. I zoomed way in on it though. It's my favorite view here.

I'm glad they can't show cold Jess, I don't WANT your kind of cold.

It's pretty darn cold here right now too. 12 degrees, but not the same as your cold.

It's pretty high up there. There is a farm up there---I always see cows outside in that bare patch under the trees.

This place looks really blah in the winter because we're surrounded by pretty much all deciduous trees, and when they lose their leaves it's so sad.

If you want to see what cold looks like come to Monroe. 10 degrees is COLD for us down south.

Try -10 this morning in Penna......

From what I can see it looks cold. It's 4 below right now. We're gonna have a heat wave, though. It will get up to a big 8 degrees this afternoon!

It was -26 below here this morning. It is -11 right now. I would have taken pictures but it was dark when I got home. Don't think the pictures would show the cold anyways...just the snow.

Ok. You guys made your point. I'm shutting up.

We are going to have a heat wave soon though. It is supposed to be in the 20s Saturday and Sunday and 32 by Tuesday!! We will probably be wearing t-shirts!

but what is interesting to me is that we knew this 10 degree weather was coming and we've been complaining all year that this school is freezing (and I'm not cold natured), the students wear their coats in class most days, certain classes have been moved into the media center because it's a little warm in there, and today maintenance has been sent to fix the heat. Will they be able to fix it today? No, because they will need to order parts. I brought a little heater from home but if the fire marshall catches me I'll be writing you from fire marshall prison.

I have a little heater under my desk at work all winter! I would freeze in here without it! That is too bad that they waited until now to fix the heat at school.

Everyone knew it would happen this way. Yesterday one of the tutors came into the office and said "if something isn't done before tomorrow they will need to close this school. The students can't work under these conditions." I don't know if that's when the principal called central office of if the tutor did or what, but they're here today.

What is the temp in the school?

My pond gap is closing in today........brrrrrr, it's cold out there!

Just took the doggy outside(I'll post his pics in his topic), it's snowing really good here and there isn't even anything on the radar near us. It's been doing this all morning. I love it!

Oh Brrrrr. I am glad for our warmer weather right now. It actually suits my needs.

I could handle summer. Or spring. Or fall for that matter.

Looks like plenty of neighborhood cats have been on the pond drinking out of the pump. Bubba doesn't go near the pond thankfully.

I must say it is pretty outside though. Nice to watch out the window.

Yep, it's pretty bad here too---but I like it. I don't have to drive in it! Although I am ready for summer.

It's about 30 here right now too. Tomorrows high though is only 15.

Do you 4 wheel in the snow a lot? You should get a little plow for the front of yours.

Yes I just came in from 4 wheeling.

We been out daily.I love it in the snow .. Soft like cotton if, you dont get stuck..
Hubbys is shorter and he does get stuck.. Mine is a 450 and taller.
We trade and only ride the fields where we can act crazy and not get hurt.

Lots of clean fun just for us.

How often do you get snow Sheri?

we got about 4-5 inches. Our power went out at 2:30 and didn't come back on until 8:30. We have a generator but we didn't hook it up.

psssst--I don't want to say this too loudly--but it was 40 or a bit more today, and sunny---and will get a bit warmer tomorrow-----don't get jealous---this weekend it is going to get way cold again---
